David R. Blouin

David R. Blouin is a Certified Public Accountant and the President and founder of Blouin & Company, Inc., a financial / business management firm specializing in providing accounting, tax and consulting services to high net worth individuals and their families. Mr. Blouin’s firm provides “Family Office” and “Personal CFO” services to a number of successful and prominent individuals and their families, including business owners and CEOs, professional athletes high-profile individuals in the entertainment and media industries.

Mr. Blouin began his career in 1984 with the international accounting and consulting firm KPMG Peat Marwick. Mr. Blouin worked in the technology division of this “Big Five” firm from 1984 through 1995 where he progressed to the level of Senior Manager. Mr. Blouin provided audit and consulting services to numerous companies, and worked closely with senior management of these companies from incorporation and business planning through VC funding and IPOs. From 1995 through 1999 Mr. Blouin worked as a senior executive in the Boston office of Provident Financial Management, a national business management firm specializing in the entertainment and sports industries.

Mr. Blouin received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and his Associates in Science Degree in Management from Bentley College in 1984. Mr. Blouin has served as the Treasurer of the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, Inc. since the year 2000. Mr. Blouin also serves as Treasurer and Board member of the Newton Schools Foundation.

Tina Cantu

Tina Cantu formally joined Blouin & Company as co-founder of their Charities/Foundation Division in 2013. Tina has a JD from Suffolk University Law School, an MBA from Northeastern University, a BS in Management from Lesley College and an AD in Nursing from Jamestown Community College in Jamestown, NY. Tina brings to Blouin & Company an expertise in Board Governance and Charitable Foundations. Tina has been involved with start-ups both in the for-profit business environment as well as in the non-profit area. She serves on multiple non-profit boards. She is President , Co-Chair and Clerk of the Board of Directors for Kevin Youkilis “Youk’s Kids”, Co-chair of the Board of Directors for the Doug Flutie, Jr., Foundation for Autism, Co-Chair and Clerk for the Kevin Faulk Foundation, Clerk, Board of Directors for One Mission, Inc., Clerk, Board of Directors for Sports Legacy Institute, Board of Directors for the BoSox Club, and a Corporator for the Emerson Hospital Board of Directors. Tina has 25 years of management experience and non-profit experience. Her expertise is assisting families, athletes and celebrities in setting up their own 501(c)(3) non-profit foundations, board governance including forming board of directors for foundations, and assisting in the running of the back office support for non-profits. Tina also assists the foundations by functioning as an Executive Director as needed to the foundations she works with.

Bob Cinelli

Bob Cinelli is a Senior Client Manager at Blouin & Company where he has worked since 2002. Bob is responsible for managing the relationships of several major clients on a daily basis, including all accounting and business management services for those clients. Prior to joining Blouin & Company, Bob was a Client Manager at Provident Financial Management, a national business management firm with offices in five US cities. Although Bob works with a number of affluent families, he has also developed an expertise within the entertainment and sports industries. Bob received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University in 1992.

Karen Lopez

Karen Lopez joined Blouin & Company in 2001 and as a Client Manager she is responsible for the day-to day accounting and family office management services of several of the firm’s successful families. In addition, Karen has developed an expertise in the area of Family Foundation accounting and management. Prior to joining Blouin & Company, Karen worked for eight years in the accounting department of the Massachusetts Laborers’ Benefit Funds. Karen holds an Associates degree in accounting from Massachusetts Bay Community College and she completed the Business Management Program at Bentley College in 1989.
